Hi! I am looking for an end of year economics project for my Business Economics class. I would like something a little fresher than what I have been using the last two years. If anyone out there has something that they think is amazing please share. I would like it to be an independent assignment if possible if not a group project will work. I would like to also include a visual presentation as well a written. |

I have done a project where students have to research two different jobs that they are interested in. I use the BLS website where they have to look at the specific jobs and compare them. A Venn diagram works well for them to compare. I let them present with ppt this year which was a mistake because it took too much time. I also let them pick what they were most interested in which was good for them but after the fourth nurse presentation it was getting to be a bit much. I will probably have them research on their own next time present in groups. The students have said it was a very worthwhile project and gave them some reality about the types of jobs they thought they wanted to do. |
